Social Security Disability (SSD) and SSI

Social Security Disability Attorney John Tucker has handled Disability and SSI claims before the Social Security Administration for over a 16 years.  Mr. Tucker manages our Disability Section, which handles cases throughout Florida and in other states.  We can handle your case from the date you file your claim all the way through the process to a hearing before an Administrative Law Judge, and even on appeal to federal court if necessary.

According to Social Security's website, "Studies show that a 20-year-old worker has a 3-in-10 chance of becoming disabled before reaching retirement age."  Social Security Disability (SSD) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) are very different from other types of disability claims. Unlike private long-term disability insurance or disability pensions, the Social Security Administration has a well-defined procedure for obtaining benefits. Their rules are different from insurance and pension plans, and the process can often take over 2 years to obtain benefits if you have to go to a hearing before a Judge. We can assist in obtaining these benefits, and we can usually do this at the same time that we are handling other types of disability cases.

If you believe we can be of assistance in helping you obtain Social Security Disability benefits, please contact us.  Please take advantage of the free consultation offered by Florida Disability Attorney John Tucker and our staff. Our Tampa Bay location is a central base of operations to assist Social Security claimants throughout Florida.  Our office is staffed to handle much of your claim over the phone, by email and by mail, so you do not need to drive to our offices unless you want to do so.  While many of our clients are in the vicinity of Clearwater, Dunedin, Largo, New Port Richey, Pinellas Park, St. Petersburg and Tampa, we currently have clients in most of the counties in Florida.
